ROP Dates/Deadlines

Please Note: THE DEADLINE FOR STUDENT SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED! Student applications will now be accepted until FRIDAY, MARCH 3, 2017 at 11:59pm. The previous deadline was Friday, February 24th, 2017.

ROPAPP opens to instructors to begin submitting project proposals

 

Friday, February 10

Deadline for online submission of project proposals.

Tuesday, February 14

All accepted project descriptions will be available through the ROPAPP for students to begin submitting application(s) online.

Friday, February 24

Deadline for students to submit application(s) through the ROPAPP.

NOTE: ROPAPP will close to students at 11:59pm.

Friday, March 3 EXTENDED DEADLINE for student applications. 

NOTE: ROPAPP will close to students at 11:59pm.

Friday, March 10

Instructor DEADLINE to select students for SUMMER projects.

Tuesday, March 21 to Friday, March 31

SUMMER students to be loaded into their approved ROP courses with a signed ROP contract.

Monday, April 17, 2017  DEADLINE for ROP project funding requests.

May

Students admitted to the SUMMER projects can begin work.

Friday, May 12      

Instructor DEADLINE to select students for FALL, FALL/WINTER, and WINTER projects.

Mid to Late June

FALL, FALL/WINTER, and WINTER students to be loaded into their approved ROP courses with a signed ROP Contract.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

When submitting your project proposal through the ROPAPP note that the “Save Data” button automatically sends your project proposal to your Chair for approval.  Please ensure that your project details are complete before you select “Save Data”.

Students selected to participate (approved) will be notified automatically via email through the ROPAPP.

Students cannot begin work until the contract has been agreed upon & signed through the ROPAPP by all three parties: The student, the instructor and the Chair.

Selected students will be automatically registered on ROSI during the registration periods for the SUMMER, FALL, WINTER and FALL/WINTER sessions.
