Starting in Summer 2021, the Program & Curriculum Unit will support units through the process of implementing new curriculum requirements related to two aspects of teaching:
- The introduction of new course experience tags; and
- Permanent calendrical designation of courses as Online or Hybrid, as of Fall 2022.
The process for proposing these curricular changes will take place over 3 phases:
Timeline for proposing curriculum changes on CM | |
---|---|
PHASE 1: Course Experience Tagging | 2022-2023 deadline passed |
PHASE 2: Online by Design Course Mode of Delivery Changes | 2023-2024 deadline passed |
PHASE 3: All Other Curriculum Changes | 2022-2023 deadline passed |
All Curriculum changes proposed during Phase 1-3 will go forward for review at the October 2021 Undergraduate Curriculum Review Session. These proposed changes are for implementation in the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
Resources will be available to help units understand the process for adding these tags/designations to their courses.
The Program & Curriculum Unit will notify all Curriculum Committee members and staff via email as more information becomes available.
