Sude Beltan is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto.  Her research focuses on the relationship between state rescaling and entrepreneurial urbanism in the context of metropolitan governance in Turkey. She is particularly interested in the role played by intergovernmental relations and politico-institutional arrangements in shaping urban politics and policies. She has teaching experience in courses on globalization, urbanization, and comparative politics. She holds an MA in Political Science and International Relations from Bo─čaziçi University, Istanbul
