Randy's research draws on social-psychology to explore the role of identity in political behavior. His book project, Interests and Identities in Racialized Voting, examines what motivates racialized vo;ters to support racialized candidates. Canadian Journal of Political Science, "Rainbow Coalitions or Inter-Minority Conflict" explores similar issues. Randy's current research focuses on the way that attacks and criticisms of identities affect motivation for political action.
