Customer Service Representative at BMO Financial Group B.A. Honours in Political Science 2020

Current Position

I am currently studying to write my paralegal license in 2022 from Seneca College at York University. I have been taking courses in interesting fields of the Canadian court system, administrative law, contracts and torts, and even learning how to write legal forms and procedures. While studying, I am currently working at BMO, trying to gain experience and perhaps in the future work in the company's legal sector.

Favourite Memories at UTM

I applied to the university intending to pursue environmental science and history. But after taking several courses, I realized it was not for me. After taking political science, geography and women and gender study courses, I realized that it was something I see myself doing in the future.

My favourite course would definitely have to be Political Geography with Professor Joseph Leydon. The course was very informative and pushed me towards my passion for politics. Professor Leydon made the course enjoyable and easy to follow.

Throughout this process, I met my best friends and was also able to meet my fiancé as well.

If I could provide any advice to any future undergraduates, don't let your program define who you are! Don't confine yourself to one area. Explore different courses, clubs and programs and give yourself free rein to enjoy the experience. Allow yourself to experience fascination and expand your interests. You never know how these interests will positively impact your life. Make your time at UofT a memorable and enjoyable one.

Major in Political Science, Minor in Geography, Minor in Women & Gender Studies
