Resident Parking Permits for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

How does UTM Resident parking work?

  • UTM has designated resident parking in lots P5, P6, P7 & P10
  • The capacities of lots P6, P7 & P10 are very limited (less than 20 spaces each)
  • To be fair, spaces in those lots are allocated via Lottery and per the chart below
  • Families with young children living in residence will be accommodated first
  • Resident parking in P6, P7 & P10 is limited and not guaranteed

New: We have transitioned to Virtual Permits!   Effective September 1, 2023, physical parking receipts and/or parking hangtags are no longer available at UTM parking lots. Instead, registering the license plate of your vehicle(s) online will serve as a ‘virtual permit’.
