Overnight parking for Resident Parking Lots P5, P6, P7 and P10.

2020-2021 Resident Permit Application & Lottery Process:

Application Dates:

Monday July 27th to Friday August 14th;          (by email only)

Email completed applications to parking.utm@utoronto.ca

Lottery Lot Assignment and Permit Distribution :

Monday August 17th and onwards;

Notification emails sent to applicants with online payment and mail out option, or in-person pay and pickup link (all visits by appointment only)

All visits are by appointment only. Please ensure you follow all signage and physical distancing markers in place. The Alumni House remains closed to the public. All visits will be serviced by an exterior service window (outside).

  • As of Monday July 27, 2020, residents can start submitting their 2020-2021 Annual Resident parking permit application forms via email to the Parking Office (parking.utm@utoronto.ca)
  • Applicants will be entered into the lottery for a Resident P5, P6, P7 or P10 parking permit based on their indicated preference
  • All applications must be received by Friday August 14, 2020 in order to be eligible for the lottery

  • Please ensure your telephone number and University of Toronto email address are listed on your application form
  • Families with small children living in residence will be accommodated first. (You must indicate this directly on the application form for consideration)
  • Check off the Resident lot you prefer. 

***Resident parking in P6, P7 & P10 is limited and not guaranteed if this is the lot preferred***

Any resident; issued on a first-come, first-served basis

Resident P6

Schreiberwood residents (families with young children accommodated first) *Limited Availability (Assigned via Lottery)

Applicants living in other areas will be considered via lottery if space remains.

Resident P7

Schreiberwood residents ONLY (families with young children accommodated first) *Limited Availability (Assigned via Lottery)

Resident P10

MaGrath Valley residents *Limited Availability (Assigned Via Lottery)

The resident parking permit lottery will take place Monday August 17, 2020 and all residents will be informed of the lottery results via email.  If you are not granted the permit you applied for through the lottery, you will be granted a Resident P5 parking permit. Best efforts will be made to accommodate requests where possible.

Payment Information:

  • Payment for Annual Resident parking permits will take place once the resident parking lot has been assigned (August 2020). We will notify you via email as per the lottery results.
  • Payment must be made in full to receive your permit

Two (2) payment and permit collection options:

  • Pay online and have your permit mailed to your residence; or
  • Make an appointment to visit the Parking Office to pay and pickup your permit.

  • Accepted methods of payment: debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express
