Arts & Culture

Arts Festival

The UTM Arts Festival is an annual event that provides our students with opportunities to express themselves creatively regardless of academic discipline.  This experience is unique and extremely valuable to our students who prove year after year that the UTM community is rich with talent that deserves to be showcased.

Theatre Erindale

Theatre Erindale, the production company of the Theatre and Drama Studies program, presents a full season of plays in the intimate, state-of-the-art Erindale Studio Theatre. Every student in the program works on two of these shows per year. In first and second year, production duties consist of backstage, technical and front-of-house work with increasing levels of responsibility. In third year, students advance to the public performance of mostly supporting roles, and further prove their abilities through the Junior project. In fourth year, acting responsibilities progress to mostly featured roles, and are accompanied by a dramaturgical study of the plays.

Theatre Rental

Our spaces are available for rental in the summer months, and the MiST Theatre is also available at various times during the school year.
