Bio

Natalie graduated from the University of St Andrews in Scotland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. While there, she wrote a thesis focused on gender roles and women’s empowerment in the Syrian civil war. She also organized a women in business conference, at which she learned about the intersection of business and social good and how their synergy was becoming the biggest movement for business in the 21st century. This opened her eyes to the enormous opportunity to leverage businesses’ power to effect positive change and inspired Natalie to pursue a career in sustainability.

For four years, Natalie worked at a French sustainability ratings company at its Paris and Toronto offices. Through that experience, she developed deep practical knowledge of sustainability and sustainable procurement issues across a wide range of industries, and with clients from different countries. In her business development role, she generated customer growth and managed the sales cycle by prospecting and selling membership subscriptions. In her account management role, she accelerated adoption and success with key clients and provided strategic guidance on sustainability, responsible procurement, and change management. In her roles, Natalie worked closely with sustainability and procurement managers and executives to help them embed sustainability into their business strategy.

Natalie is highly committed to volunteering in the sustainability arena and for social justice initiatives. She has volunteered for the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship, a sustainable fashion advocacy organization, and a sexual violence prevention organization. She also enjoys playing sports and staying active through tennis, swimming, biking and running. She also enjoys learning French when she has the time.
