Bryan Zimmerman

Master of Science in Sustainability Management • University of Toronto Mississauga

Bachelor of Science • Biological Chemistry, Kinesiology • McGill University

 • MScSM Class 2016 Student Executive Council Member - VP Social

A recent graduate from McGill University, Bryan completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Chemistry with a minor in Kinesiology. He was inspired to pursue environmental sustainability following courses in Green Chemistry and Catalysis. His subsequent involvement with the McGill Energy Project allowed him to explore the complex issues surrounding the energy use of the McGill community.

Bryan’s motivation to diverge from the traditional science path to pursue management was stimulated by his successes in various leadership experiences.

He gained considerable leadership, teamwork and organizational experience from being on both departmental and faculty level student associations, and from coordinating McGill Orientation Week and McGill Science Games two years in a row.

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys cooking (read: eating), reading and spending time with family and friends. When the opportunity arises, traveling (especially somewhere new) is always at the top of his to-do list.
