MScSM | Networking & Career Development

Networking and Career Development

The MScSM program places a very high priority on networking and career development opportunities for its students. Our Industry Speaker Series and Guest Lectures, as well as our Work-Term Preparation Series, are specifically designed to support student career development and understanding of the sustainability management field.

Throughout the academic year, MScSM students will be connected to a range of organizations and industry professionals through our Speaker Series and Guest Lectures. Through these in-class and extra-curricular events, students will learn from experienced professionals and industry leaders about career paths related to sustainability management, acquire a deep understanding of the labour market, and expand their professional networks.

Within the Work-Term Preparation Series, a number of MScSM-specific career workshops are held, and one-on-one career support for both the work-term and future career planning is provided. To learn more, visit our Professional Development & Networking page.

As a result of these combined efforts, MScSM students are well-supported for their summer work-term placement, and better prepared for the marketplace upon graduation.

To learn about potential internships & co-op placements available to MScSM students, visit our Internship & Co-Op page.
