At Ecosource, Arielle coordinates whole-school waste reduction campaigns for schools in Mississauga. She participates in the refinement, preparation and delivery of the campaign components including waste audits, assemblies, school-wide challenges, and staff and student training and professional development. Arielle also work as the project lead for Work to Reduce, a program she created to help businesses and organization in the Region of Peel foster waste reduction in the workplace through various facilitated educational components. Arielle creates, prepares and delivers the program’s facilitated components including waste audits, lunch and learns, tabling, waste bin signage creation and report writing.

During her time in the MScSM program, Arielle was on the Dean's List in 2015 and in 2016, and was a co-Valedictorian for her graduating class. For three years, Arielle volunteered as an environmental ambassador for the City of Mississauga where she worked to promote sustainable living. Arielle also had the exciting opportunity to facilitate sustainability-focused workshops with UTM’s Show Me The Green conference and the Mississauga Board of Trade’s sustainability event. For her work-term placement, Arielle had the one of a kind opportunity to work with the Canada’s Clean50 organization where she contributed to researching and recognizing sustainability champions within all industries across Canada. Over the summer term, Arielle worked with two separate research positions at U of T and worked as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate course in National Environmental Policy.
