Bio

Alannah graduated in 2018 from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After graduating, Alannah started as a junior accountant at an investment firm, Tiny Capital, that was part of group of associated companies in Victoria. For the first year, she split her time between Tiny Capital and 3 associated companies. After the first year, she moved full-time to one of the associated companies, Metalab Design, as they were growing quickly. During this time, she also started the PEP program to earn her CPA designation.

In her spare time, Alannah enjoys being outside, making sustainable choices and finding ways to use her education to help the community. She is looking forward to determining a career where she can use her account background and enthusiasm for long-term sustainable practices. When choosing to stay in Victoria after graduating, the ocean, hiking and camping opportunities played a part. Alannah is planning to explore Southern Ontario and the opportunities it offers for outdoors enjoyment.

Born and raised in Toronto, Alannah is looking forward to returning home after a decade in BC. After family and friends, she is tied in excitement for the farmer’s markets, restaurants, and the theatre scene in Toronto
