Students of the week #1
Prior to joining MMI, Daniel completed internships at multiple pharmaceutical companies and also worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Hospital for Sick Children. During his studies at the University of Toronto, he was involved in many extracurricular activities including the UTM D-League volleyball team, volunteering in church ministries, and working as a support worker for children with autism.
Daniel is persistent and exemplifies an outstanding work ethic which has resulted in successful project outcomes and scientific publications. Post-program completion, Daniel hopes to apply his strong organizational and leadership skills in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Riya is a graduate of the University of Waterloo. During her studies, she participated in extracurricular activities regularly and held several executive roles in student organizations. Her leadership experience was also strengthened by her work as a rehab technician and laboratory teaching assistant.
After MMI, she hopes to secure a position in the technology industry and work alongside her peers to improve the state of healthcare.
Throughout her undergraduate studies, Tamara was heavily involved in extracurricular activities and honed strong leadership as well as analytical abilities. She was elected President for a campus-wide fundraising committee, tutored children, volunteered with the elderly and also worked in a research lab.
