Danielle Portnik, from the Class of 2015, has been named the General Manager of the newly-created Toronto affiliate of the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association.  Currently a Product Manager with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Danielle recently organized the launch event for HBA Toronto to resounding success - a sold out evening for the largest launch event in HBA's history since it's inception in 1977.

The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association is a global non-profit that spans the healthcare industry. Comprised of both individuals and organizations, the HBA leverages it's expansive business network to drive it's mission of achieving gender parity in leadership postions, facilitating career and business connections and providing effective practices that enable organizations to realize the full potential of their female talent. These goals are developed through educational, research and advocacy initiatives as well as via individual and company recognition.
