Data and Health Care: Introduction and Applications

Biography:
Mark Tatangelo is a health services researcher with interests in applying novel statistical attribution methods. Mark has research experience with large administrative datasets, clinical cohorts with standardized data collection or combinations of datasets. Mark’s area of theory specialization is in distance matrices and robust statistical methods. In technical areas, Mark is working on causal attribution, machine assisted decision making, automation, and cluster computing.

Abstract:
How do we evaluate "big data" products, personnel, and proposals. How can we optimize our research questions for "big data" analysis.
