UTM MCS Competes at ICPC East Central North America Regional!
UTM MCS proudly sent four teams to the ICPC East Central North America Regional at the University of Windsor last weekend!
UTM MCS was represented by the following teams:
- all my team name ideas are horrible — Justin Wong, Kevin Yang, Simon Shen
- Polaris — Aditya Ilham Khairullah Seger, Hayyan Ahmad Al Ghifary, Jeremy Radase Dollyputra Nainggolan
- Neural Nexus — Annabel Talitha, Parv Agrawal, Wahib Barqawi
- Three Pointers — Ansh Agrawal, Aryan Garg, Matthew Ramsoondar
The teams placed 27th, 36th, 55th, and 73rd, respectively, out of 86 teams across the region.
The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the world’s largest and most prestigious competitive programming event. Teams of three students share a single computer and have five hours to solve as many algorithmic problems as possible.
This marks MCS's first year participating in the ICPC — an exciting milestone for our growing programming community!
