U of T Mississauga opens campus to high school students during March Break

The University of Toronto Mississauga is ready to wow more than a thousand high school students at its March Break Open House on Sunday, March 13.

Across the city, high school students are making their final decisions on where to go to university this fall, says Lorretta Neebar, associate registrar of admissions and recruitment at U of T Mississauga. We're inviting them to our campus to get a first-hand, up-close look at the amazing range of programs, facilities and support services that we offer.

Students and their families will be able to tour the pedestrian-friendly campus, visit its state-of-the-art library, the athletic, recreation and wellness centre, modern residences, science labs and theatre.
Interested applicants will have the chance to hear from current students about life at U of T Mississauga and get the inside scoop on academic programs they have taken. Student Life Sessions will highlight the unique array of academic and student support services available, as well as meal plans, exclusive low-cost Mississauga Transit bus passes and on-campus entertainment, arts and culture.

In between sessions, guests can tour the on-campus Blackwood Gallery, which will be featuring an exhibition of work by Art & Art History 2011 graduates of U of T Mississauga.

Students use March Break as an opportunity to explore and compare campuses they are considering attending next year, Neebar says. This is a perfect time for them to come to our campus and learn about what it means to be a student at U of T Mississauga.

A detailed schedule and online registration are available at www.utm.utoronto.ca/marchbreak.
