PM wives, great minds, Health in the City topics at Canadian Perspectives Lecture Series

Jane Stirling

The fascinating personalities of prime ministers’ wives, strategies to stimulate and care for our brains and the evolving landscape of Mississauga’s community healthcare network are some of the topics that will be discussed at the fall 2013 Canadian Perspectives Lecture Series at Erindale United Church, 1444 Dundas Cres., Mississauga.

The public lectures include stories of various PM wives such as one who wrote raunchy notes to her husband in code, ways to engage and stimulate our brains to ensure they are working optimally and a look at how U of T Mississauga and Trillium Health Partners are providing new healthcare opportunities in Mississauga.

The lectures will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursdays from Oct. 17 to Nov. 14 at Erindale United Church. The five-lecture series costs $55 per person (including lunch following the Oct. 31 lecture), or $12 per lecture.
