In photos: UTM class of 2025 celebrates fall convocation

With cheers, applause and the support of their loved ones, students from the University of Toronto Mississauga crossed the stage to accept their degrees during fall convocation this week.

Ceremonies were held at the St. George campus, where several graduating students reflected on their time at UTM and what they loved most about it.

“The community is everything and the bonds that you make here are for life,” said Emma Linklater, who graduated from the master of management of innovation program.

Andrew Gad said UTM’s comparatively smaller student population was a big plus.

“It’s easy to make lots of great friendships, very easy to interact with professors,” he said. “It’s a very tight-knit community and I will truly miss that.”

Suhani Kapoor said her experience at UTM made her believe in herself.

“You learn a lot (of things) about yourself when you come to university, one of them being how hard you can work sometimes,” she said. “So be proud of yourself and keep pushing.”
