Charles Elkabas

Prof. Elkabas holds a PhD from the University of Illinois (specialist in French literature and a minor in cinema and comparative literature). He taught at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and at North Carolina State University (Raleigh). His publications deal with 19th-century French literature, teaching and learning a second language, business French, and teaching and learning French with information and communication technologies. His professional experience in the private sector is in banking, auditing, accounting and merchandising. Prof. Elkabas also received a U of T Mississauga Teaching Excellence Award. He retired in 2021.
