Language of the Month
We’re excited to introduce our Language of the Month initiative, which will highlight one (or more) of the ten languages offered by the Department of Language Studies at UTM each month.
Events may include student showcases, cultural workshops, guest speakers, community panels, film screenings, language activities, and other opportunities to learn about, and engage with, different languages and cultures.
Get ready to experience languages and cultures beyond the classroom, connect with other students, alumni, and local communities, and discover the many ways languages are used and celebrated at UTM!
Language of the Month schedule:
- October: Chinese
- November: Italian
- January: Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu
- February: Arabic and German
- March: French and Persian
