Interested in how gender diversity has been represented in Italian culture? Learn more in ITA392H5 Queer Italy: Literature and Cinema!

This course is offered in English, and is an exploration of expressions of gender diversity in Italian culture through time. Particular attention will be paid to issues of persecution, social struggle and activism, censorship, and marginalization of LGBTQ+ individuals and works. Texts will be available in Italian and English.

This course will be taught by Dr. Adriana Grimaldi and will meet Wednesdays 5–7pm.
