Safety Abroad Workshops
Things to Keep in Mind:
- The Safety Abroad Workshop is now online! In person sessions on the UTM campus have been cancelled.
- Prior to your international travel you are required to complete the online Safety Abroad training.
- The workshop is organized in chapter form so that you can complete the modules at your own pace. Completing all of the modules and test will take approximately 2 hours.
- If you have technical difficulties please contact Safety Abroad at safety.abroad@utoronto.ca.
- The website mentions completing: Waivers, Registration in the Safety Abroad Database, and Confirmation of Travel Health Insurance, you will complete these steps during the Pre-Departure Form.
- If you have completed a session in the last 1.5 years you don’t need to complete another one, unless you went to a USA specific session or a Summer Abroad specific session. If this is the case please email utmabroad@utoronto.ca and we will confirm your record.
