University of Toronto Mississauga - Holiday Closure
Please note that the University of Toronto Mississauga will be closed for the holidays starting Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at 6 p.m., reopening and resuming regular hours of operation on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 (6 a.m.).
U of T Mississauga Campus Police
Please note that Campus Police Services is in Rm. 3116 of the William G. Davis Building.
The U of T Mississauga Campus Police will be on duty 24 hours a day during the closing. They can be reached at 905-828-5200 for general help or at 905-569-4333 in emergency situations.
Access to the William G. Davis Building will be available on a 24/7 basis for pre-authorized students, staff and faculty via the main entrance of the Davis Building by utilizing the swipe card door at that location. All other doors to the William G. Davis Building will be locked except for the RAWC entrance, which will be staffed by Campus Police from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. All other buildings will be locked during the closing and persons requiring access must plan with their departments for appropriate access.
Facilities Management & Planning
There will be no Administration, Maintenance, Custodial or Grounds staff on duty during the holiday closure period. However, Maintenance and Caretaking staff are on call for emergencies and Grounds will be on stand by and available for snow removal as required.
Receiving/Shipping will be closed (please notify your suppliers accordingly).
Outside garbage will be picked up once a week.
Building engineers will be on duty throughout the holiday closure. If they are required during the closure, please contact Campus Police.
For your lab cleaning needs please contact Facilities via the Vice-Principal, Research Office.

Student Housing & Residence Life
UTM Student Housing & Residence Life will be open for the Winter Break.
Almost 250 residents will stay in residence for all or part of the winter break. These students have been provided with guidelines and contact information to report maintenance and safety concerns. Regular on-call shifts and nightly rounds will be conducted by Student Housing & Residence Life staff. Normal professional on-call procedures/processes will remain in effect. Programming and activities will be delivered throughout the break. The Residence Service Desk in Oscar Peterson Hall will be open on days that are not statutory holidays with hours available here: https://www.utm.utoronto.ca/housing/current-residents/winter-break-housing. Residence will re-open for the general population at Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021.
Information & Instructional Technology Services (I&ITS)
I&ITS will be closed for the holidays. Service Desk e-mail and voice mail will not be regularly monitored; periodic checks will be made for urgent requests. Critical services such as the UTM website and internet connection to the St. George campus will be monitored and maintained. All other requests will be reviewed on the week of Jan. 4, 2021.

The Parking Office will be closed for the holidays as of 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 and will resume regular hours at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Online permit sales will be unavailable between Dec. 18 and 31. The online site will be available for permit purchases as of Jan. 1, 2021, with pickup or delivery starting Jan. 4, 2021.
The CCT Garage will close as of 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020. Vehicles in the CCT Garage after this time will have exiting privileges only. The CCT Garage will reopen at 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. CCT Garage permits will be valid in Lots P4, P5, P8 and P9 for those who need to park during this closure. Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre
The Library will close on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 7 p.m. and reopen on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10 a.m., but staff will be available remotely during the week of January 4–8. Remote access to electronic resources will be available throughout this period. When the Library is open, booking computer workstations or study spaces continues to be required to enter. Requests for the Library’s Curbside Pickup Service must be made by Friday, December 18, 2020 and will resume on Thursday, January 7, 2021 for pickup when the Library re-opens.
Recreation, Athletics &Wellness Centre
UTM’s Department of Recreation, Athletics & Wellness’s online and in-person operations will be closed until Jan. 4, when online services will resume. Note that much of DRAW’s asynchronous content remains available to students over the holiday closure.
As per COVID-19 restrictions, the UTM Bookstore is currently online only. Orders can be placed online 24/7. Visit https://uoftbookstore.com/hours.asp
