"A new high-powered computing cluster is boosting data handling capabilities for researchers at U of T Mississauga. Launched in February, the UTM Research Cluster provides high-power data processing capabilities, improved security, data storage and backup, and centralized software and hardware administration, along with substantial cost and time savings to researchers and departments analyzing large volumes of data."

I&ITS is pleased to launch the Summer Research Series for faculty, students and researchers. This series is intended to help the UTM community become more familiar with the Research Computing services and tools offered on campus.

Join us for an informative hour with Brian Novogradac as he goes into overviews and deep dives into high-performance computing, research tools and software platforms, and consulting services for researchers looking to find efficiencies.

Each session in the series will cover a different topic, such as Wikis, JupyterHub, and deep dives into HPC and other tools available.

Upcoming Dates:

Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Location: CCT 3130

Topic: Res-Nas, UTM hosted network accessible storage (NAS) for researchers
