Director's Message

"Hello everyone and welcome back!

I wanted to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to be the new director of the ICCIT. This Institute is poised like no other to confront, think, and work within the changing technological world and the communities these changes impact. Our faculty and our student body are comprised of a unique mix of media-makers, theorists, designers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and cutting-edge technologists. I feel especially honoured to work in an environment like this where my faculty learn as much from you as you learn from us.  I want to welcome two of the newest faculty joining us this year - both are exemplary of the vision and future of ICCIT: Ramtin Lotfabadi and Anjali Nath.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible. Welcome to those of you who are just entering one of the ICCIT programs. There are many opportunities for all of you to get involved in the ICCIT community and I am sure you will be hearing more about the ICCIT Student Mentorship Program (ISMP), ICCIT Council activities, the DEM Association (DEMA), and Media Skills Workshops

All the best for now,
Sarah Sharma
