Maanjiwe nendamowinan
The new Maanjiwe nendamowinan Building was opened in 2018 and is home to the departments of English & Drama, Philosophy, Historical Studies, Language Studies, Political Science and Sociology, and the Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre. The building also features a dedicated space for digital humanities research and the Centre for South Asian Civilizations. This beautiful space is designed for collaborative research with meeting rooms, study, social and event space.
The social and event spaces in this building are larger than most, including the Grand Hall which has a moving wall that can open and close, a full-function bar, and is easily the most unique function space on campus. The building also features garden terraces.
Food Services include: the Fair Trade Café (hours of operation here)
