Laura Moncion is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Toronto, completing a dissertation on women recluses in late medieval Alsace. Her research and teaching interests include the history of Christianity, the history of Europe and the world, women's and gender history, mysticism, monasticism, and historiography.
