“Empires and the Idea of Culture” Distinguished Lecture by Professor Jordan Sand

Professor Jordan Sand of Georgetown University is coming to present his Distinguished Lecture, “Empires and the Idea of Culture” on November 8^th at 4:00pm with a following reception. Lunch will be provided.

On November 9^th, there is also a special seminar with him for graduate students and faculty at 12pm at the Transit House, 315 Bloor St. W. There are two pre-circulated papers (including one working paper), respectively on urbanism and methodology, for the seminar.
