Practicum in Women & Gender Studies (WGS435Y5)
This practicum allows advanced WGS students to combine theory and practice through part-time unpaid placement with a community agency, government body, educational or social change organization. These have included: Interim Place Women's Shelter, Peel Poverty Action Group, Ontario Pay Equity Commission, the People Project, Mississauga Disability Office, Studio 89, Canadian Centre for International Justice and more.
Recommended Preparation: WGS 200Y5 and 1.0 WGS credit at the 300-level.
Prerequisite: 3rd or 4th year status and PI.
