Overview

Wellness at Home is a new online initiative featuring daily wellness workshops, activities, and resources from Mondays through Fridays.  Brought to you by the University of Toronto Mississauga: Health & Counselling Centre (HCC). Open to all UofT students.

Weekly Schedule

Mindful Monday: Mindfulness Meditation 

Start your week off by taking time to be in the present moment and becoming aligned with your goals for the days ahead. Our weekly Mindfulness Meditation class is led by HCC Counselling Staff and requires no experience to participate! 

Time: 1 - 1:30 pm

Tea

Together Tuesday 

Looking to connect with other students? Join fellow students peers for weekly wellness-inspired activities and conversations. Student-led and judgment-free.

Time: 2 - 3 pm

Staying Well: Join us as we chat about some helpful ways to start the year off on a healthy note! We will have a chance to reflect on our current wellness and identify resources that can help us on our wellness journey.

Today I Rise... Affirmations of Self Love - POSTPONED.

Rebeckah Price | Hart House

This gentle restorative yoga class will create  moments of rest to connect to self and listen to your inner voice. We will begin in conversation and reflection by asking ourselves some journal prompts that connect us to our inner selves and provide space for us to dig deeper. After restorative yoga you will be guided through a self love meditation to root you into the space of self affirmation. We will then close out and pause in reflection as we all cultivate our our affirmations rooted in self love.

Foodie Friday

Get inspired to cook at home with the HCC's Dietitian, Kimberly Green! Featuring a unique recipe every Friday on the @WellnessatUTM Instagram account (served up with some nutritional advice, tips and tricks), followed by a live cooking tutorial the following Wednesday on Instagram.
