Two walk-in 4 °C cold rooms, two walk-in -20 °C freezer rooms, and 6 ultra-low freezers are maintained by the office of OVPR. They are served as shared resources at UTM research community for sample storage. All the fridges and freezers are connected to Honeywell remote monitoring system, which allows users to monitor their temperature remotely and to receive alarm notifications upon temperature failure.
