Reach-in Growth Chambers

UTM OVPR owns a total of 8 reach-in growth chambers.  Eight are Conviron chambers with temperature controls, programmable fluorescent and incandescent lamps.  Two are Sanyo Versatile Test chambers with temperature and humidity control and programmable fluorescent lamps.  UTM OVPR co-manages two Biochambers designed for maximum growth height and high light intensities and with controls for additive humidity and temperatures.

EF7 Technical Specifications:

• Temperature Range:  Lights off +4⁰C to +45⁰C, lights on +10⁰C to +45⁰C; programmable.
• Humidity:  Not controlled, temperature-dependent.

EF15 Technical Specifications:

Reach-in Plant Growth Chambers from Biochambers

GC20-BDAF Technical Specifications:

• Growth Area: 20.4 ft².

• Temperature Range: Lights off +5⁰C to +40⁰C, lights on +10⁰C to +40⁰C;   programmable.

  • Additive humidity up to 75% with light on, 90% with light off.
