ABOUT ME

  • PhD Student in Planning – University of Toronto Mississauga
  • Masters of Public Health, specializing in Environmental Health Sciences & Policy - The George Washington University
Thesis: Evaluation of PM Emissions of a Diesel Engine Fueled with Waste Cooking Oil Biodiesel : A Systematic Review

Research and Professional Interests

My previous research has been focused on how sustainable practices and infrastructure can benefit environmental public health and social development. I’m interested in taking that a step further by studying the social, economic and political feasibilities of planning and implementing sustainable and efficient infrastructure for effective waste management and disposal solutions in global south megacities, particularly in Lagos, Nigeria.

Why Geography at UTM?

I was really drawn to the program’s research, funding and professional development opportunities. I’ve also always loved the city of Toronto from previous visits, so it was a win-win!
