Mississauga Living Arts Centre
The Mississauga Living Arts Centre is where to go to watch live theatre performances, eat at a unique restaurant, and browse a local art gallery.

Shopping & Dining
Square One is the largest shopping centre in Ontario. Choose from an assortment of retailers, dining options, and attractions. There are also many entertainment options in close proximity to the shopping centre such as Playdium and Celebration Square.
Located in northern Mississauga, Streetsville, Mississauga’s ‘Village in the City,’ sits on the banks of the Credit River—a quaint scenic community with specialty shops, spas, cafés, restaurants, pubs and the largest concentration of historical buildings in Mississauga.
Port Credit is a quaint neighbourhood located at the mouth of the Credit River and Lake Ontario and is only a ten-minute drive from the University. Port Credit is home to a number of restaurant and shops and is a fun community which hosts a number of festivals and events throughout the year. Spend some time taking a walk, biking or strolling through the community and enjoy exploring what Port Credit has to offer.
Erin Mills Town Centre
Erin Mills Town Centre is the second-largest shopping centre in Mississauga. Guests can explore over 200 retail stores. The mall also offers a variety of dining and restaurants options for guests to visit during their visit.

We have a minor planet! Asteroid 223950, discovered in 2004, was renamed for Mississauga in 2011 by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
World record holder. Before retiring in 2014, Mississauga’s mayor Hazel McCallion was the world’s oldest mayor, serving 36 years, at age 93.
Busiest travel hub. Did you know: Toronto Pearson International Airport – Canada’s largest and busiest with over 41m annual passengers – is actually located in Mississauga.

A first in aviation history. Commemorated by Aviation Road east of Port Credit, Canada’s first airport, Long Branch Aerodrome, opened near the lakeshore in 1915 and closed in 1919.
