March Break Mentorship

Students conversing with each other

Starting university can be a bit overwhelming - unfamiliar territory, new learning environment, changing routines, new classmates... would you like to have an insider's perspective on what to expect? With the March Break Mentorship program, you can have the opportunity to spend some time with a university student to learn about what it's really like to be at university.

Registration

We've reached capacity and registration for 2019 is now closed.

What to Expect

  • Join a very small group of fellow high school students and shadow some of our current UTM students for a three hour mentorship session one day during March Break.
  • Activities may include: campus tours, learning more about programs and courses, checking out all the cool places to hang out on campus, meeting other UTM students, and most importantly, picturing yourself here at UTM.

Testimonial from 2017
"My experience has quite frankly surpassed my expectations, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent shadowing a student who has already made themselves comfortable with the inner workings of the UTM environment. I am very grateful for all the things I was able to learn today, and it was a privilege to experience the greatness of UTM from a different perspective."
- Sean from St. Francis Xavier High School
