I was born in Tehran, Iran to a Persian father and a Russian mother. I moved to Canada when I was two and am now a Canadian citizen. I lived in Toronto until university, when I went to Montreal and received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Concordia University. I have since moved back to Toronto and I am working as a lab technician in Dr. Fleming’s Lab. I completed my undergraduate thesis with Dr. James Pfaus at Concordia University, who’s lab studies the neurobiology of sexual behavior. During my thesis I developed a passion for behavioral neuroendocrinology.

In my spare time I enjoy downhill skiing (snow blading), camping, swimming and cooking.
I have a strong interest in sexual development, more specifically how early life maternal experiences effect the sexual development of adult males and females.
