ROP and Research
The Research Opportunity Program (ROP) gives students from second to fourth year a chance to participate in the research of a faculty member (and sometimes a community member) while earning course credit. Students in the program have the rare opportunity to become involved in hands-on, cutting-edge research, working one-on-one with the university's leading and highly qualified instructors in a range of departments.
Enhancing the Undergraduate Experience
The ROP is a unique chance to focus research interests, prepare for graduate school, and have close contact with researchers in their field of interest.
You will gain practical skills and knowledge while building strong relationships with instructors and learning about the exciting new developments in their research field.
To learn more about the courses offered through the Research Opportunity Program, visit the ROP website.
Please note: The ROP is a very competitive program. Not all students who apply are accepted.
