The Department of Economics may hire sessional lecturers to teach specific courses. Openings will be posted on the department’s website under the “Employment” section of the website and on the billboard located in the common area of the:

General Information:

Hiring decisions for courses offered during the Fall and Winter Sessions (September – April) are usually made in the preceding July-August period. For summer courses (May – August), hiring decisions are usually made in the preceding March–April period.  However, some decisions may be made earlier or later than these times, depending on circumstances.  Unexpected vacancies may arise at any time.

Please note that in accordance with this agreement, preference in hiring is given to qualified persons holding the rank of Sessional Lecturer II and Sessional Lecturer III.
