Congratulations Professor Maria Hupfield!

The City of Toronto has chosen Maria Hupfield for the AiR Program! Working with the City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, Maria will bring her creativity to exploring and highlighting the pressures on Toronto ravines. She will help develop sustainable approaches to respect these ravines and nature throughout the city. Maria’s work with industrial felt and present-day materials and insight of Anishinaabek culture and Western art practice, will lend to the ArtworxTO program goal. That goal being, to bring visibility to the arts as a civic process and the integration of art into city building. Congratulations Professor Hupfield!
