CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: 2026 Art & Art History Graduating Students’ Exhibition

We are seeking submissions from Art & Art History students to participate in the 2026 Art & Art History Graduating Students’ Exhibition organized by FAH451 curatorial studies students. This exhibition is the capstone exhibition of Art & Art History program and is presented in-person in the Blackwood’s galleries.

 

In order to participate students must:

 • Be graduating in 2026 and contribute work produced in 2025-2026 

• Be available for one studio visit (virtual or in-person) 

• Be available to volunteer 5 hours for gallery-sitting 

• Be committed once signed up 

 

What to expect: 

• Conduct a studio visit with the exhibition student-curators 

• Collaborate with the student-curators on the selection of work • Participate in creating a presentation plan for your work 

• Produce artist statement and biography to support your work 

• Engage and present in public programs (virtual or in-person) 

 

Submission Guidelines: 

Submit a 250-word description of your work and 2-3 images, including your name, email, and phone number. Submission Deadline: January 12, 2026, 11:59pm Submit Proposal to: blackwood.gallery@utoronto.ca
