Campus Police Services
The UTM Campus Police offers 24-hour support through a team of police special constables and security patrollers. Alongside maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, students, faculty and visitors on campus, Campus Police oversees other Community-based policing programs, including:
- Work Alone/WalkSafe
- CampUs Safety Project - Preventing Violence Against Young Women
- Door Access and Key Control

UTAlert
UTAlert is a communications service used to deliver campus-specific urgent and emergency messages via text message, e-mail, and telephone, along with on-screen alerts to registered laptop, desktop and lab computers. The system is also used to provide alerts of campus closures due to inclement weather.
