UTM Physics Club

The undergraduate students UTM Physics Club was founded in 2014 to provide students with an opportunity for fun physics-based activities. To date, the main task has been building a Tesla coil that will play music, but we have also levitated a piece of liquid-nitrogen-cooled superconductor, dropped a Slinky from a couple stories up, sent music over a laser beam, and more! Tours of the physics research labs are offered occasionally. No prior knowledge or skills are necessary; just come on out and enjoy the fun.

The Club meets every Thursdays between 11am - 1pm in the undergraduate Physics lab (DV1109), and all students are welcome.
