Join us for one or more of the following co-writing sessions at UTM’s Collaborative Digital Research Space!
CDRS weekly drop-in co-writing sessions are designed for postdocs, faculty, sessional instructors, and CLTAs. We have a beautiful big open space with tables, couches and comfy chairs, and offer coffee and tea – bring your laptop and write!
The Monday and Tuesday sessions begin and end with brief check-ins where people share what their working on and hope to accomplish during that time. The focus is on writing itself; group members don't share or comment on work during the sessions. You can join late during a session, just come in quietly, find a spot, and start writing!
The Thursday writing sessions are run based on the Pomodoro-model. Named after the tomato-shaped timer its inventor used, we will write for 25 minutes, take a break for 5 minutes and repeat. Please feel free to join anytime during a writing session – just enter the room quietly if people are writing already and join in!
