Call for Expressions of Interest: UTM Fall 2022 Research Programming

CDRS is seeking expressions of interest for UTM Fall HUM/SS programming.

CDRS programs two marque series: Research Spotlight series and the Research Workshop series.

Research Spotlights are short (8-10minute) research focused talks on a shared theme (past themes include Obstacles, Game Studies, Podcasting, and Disasters, Communities, and Preparedness). Posible themes for the fall are Plants, Water, and Food. If you are interested in presenting research on these themes, or have other themes in mind, please email cdrs.admin@utoronto.ca.

Research Workshops support practical applications of the research lifecyle and are based around a tool, method, or approach to research. Past research workshops include: digital storytelling, research project management, and creative knowledge mobilization). Current fall 2022 planned workshops are: Wordpress and Digital Safety. To propose other topics please email cdrs.admin@utoronto.ca.

CDRS also welcomes expressions of interest for co-sponsoring fall research focused events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person options available). To inquire if the collaboration fits the mandate of CDRS, please email Elizabeth Parke, Senior Research Associate of CDRS: elizabeth.parke@utoronto.ca
