Listed below are some of the many ways we support, partner, and collaborate with student groups.

1. Career Centre 101: A brief presentation on the Career Centre, who we are and a general overview of what we offer to your student group members. This is a great way to orient student mentors/ leaders/ members to support their career journey.

2. Tailored Workshops: Some topics include - Resume and Cover letter, Interviews, LinkedIn, Personal Statement, Learn to Network, Job Search, Summer Jobs, and Internships etc.

3. Event planning and Logistics: ex. Networking events/ Panels – Student groups are heavily involved in logistics and planning (i.e., helping us identify speakers, co-moderation, etc.) (SPOTS LIMITED).

4. Marketing & Outreach Initiatives: Support in promotion through various mediums (ex. social media) of career related events most appropriate to your membership, and vice versa. Co-tabling is also an option, but student groups must book their own table.

5. LinkedIn Photo Day: Need a photo of you looking 'professional' for your LinkedIn profile? Drop in at our LinkedIn Photo Day (SPOTS LIMITED).

6. Information / Resource Sharing and Marketing: Join a workshop of interest to share your upcoming initiatives while helping us market the workshop to your members and peers.

7. Connect with Employers: The UTM Career Centre is here to support student groups as they design and implement events with employers. We can assist you in reaching employers of interest, vetting employers for engagement and offering events to your members.
