Here's How We Support Your Career Success

The UTM Career Centre and its staff support students with exceptionalities, neuro-diversities, differing abilities, and medical conditions, to plan their careers, gain experience, find jobs and prepare for further education such as graduate and professional schools.

In our work with you, we will acknowledge your unique experiences, build on your strengths and affirm your values and goals. Our full range of services and supports are available to you (UTM Career Centre website  and via CLNx  with your Utorid).

Whether or not you are or were registered with Accessibility Services, you can access these pages, curated for their relevance to students with disability concerns.

You may also benefit from the one-on-one coaching and support of a Career Counsellor or Employment Strategist. Appointments (electronic and in-person) can help you develop career plans and strategies that meet your needs as an individual. Learn more about appointments: Career Counselling and Employment Strategizing.

If you are registered with Accessibility Services, you can also get a referral from your Accessibility Advisor to meet with Malou Twynam, a Career Counsellor who specializes in assisting students with disabilities. Not registered? You can still book with her at the Career Centre directly.
