CACEE award 2017 for excellence in innovation, student engagement
The career wellness and positive mental health campaign It All Adds Up was awarded the Excellence in Innovation for Student Engagement award at the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) national conference in Vancouver, June 2017.

UTM Career Centre joined forces with 43 Universities across Canada (and one in Australia!) for a collaborative Instagram campaign to help students reflect on, celebrate, and share their successes outside the classroom. Students were encouraged to write on whiteboards their programs of study, part-time jobs, hobbies, clubs, and favourite things and post onto their Instagram account with hashtags “ItAllAddsUp” and “UTMAddsUp

The It All Adds up Instagram campaign started at Queen’s University career centre in 2014 in collaboration with the Alma Mater Society (AMS), branched out to 15 Ontario Universities in 2015 and extended across Canada (and one in Australia) in 2016. In total 43 Universities participated in the 2016-17 campaign which ran from November 2016 – April 2017.

See all of UTMAddsUp photos, and the collective It All Adds Up campaign for more details on how to join in and celebrate and share your successes.
