The event will begin with 3-minute introductory presentations from each employer in the main room.
During networking, each organization will be assigned their own breakout room. You may join as many different breakout rooms as you'd like.

1. Camp Tournesol


Organization Description: Camp Tournesol provides superior French summer camp experiences in the GTA by creating a nurturing environment for both French Immersion, francophone or beginner students. Established in 2001, we ensure the development of a rich vocabulary through our fun programs for a wide variety of ages and levels, including in-person day camps and virtual half day camps running in the summer and during winter breaks. Join our award-winning in-person French day camps and our half day virtual French day camps during the summer or winter breaks. Children ages 4 to 12 will boost their French skills, socialize in a safe environment and have fun!

2. Dalriada Drug Discovery

  • Analytical Scientist (ADME)
    • Description: The scientist will work with the team to support our clients’ drug discovery projects in evaluating the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of small molecule drug candidates. The candidate will perform a range of in vitro ADME assays (ex: solubility, microsomal, GSH stability etc.) to support the discovery of small molecules towards a variety of therapeutic targets. Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions to optimize experiments to deliver robust data output.

  • Scientist, Synthetic/Medicinal Chemistry
    • Description: As a scientist, you will apply your knowledge of organic and medicinal chemistry for the synthesis of new compounds destined for a variety of drug discovery programs and screening platforms. The position requires performing multi-step syntheses and characterization of novel small molecules and preparing libraries of compounds that will be tested and characterized either internally or by our collaborators/clients. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. in synthetic organic chemistry.

  • Cell Biologist and Biochemist
    • Description: Undertake design and optimization of high-quality cell-based and functional assays for various targets including (but not limited to) GPCRs, nuclear receptors, ion channels. Conduct validation of the assays for screening of small molecules synthesized during hit-lead and lead optimization stages. Execute routine cell-based screening assays to ensure rapid and high-quality data delivery.

3. Exceed Robotics


Organization Description: We are engineers that teach the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs to thrive in the field of S.T.E.A.M.

Exceed team is passionate about giving kids what they need to find their passion from early on. Our goal is to take kids’ curiosity and combine it with great challenges given in the way of robotics and programming to create the draw for them to learn without being forced. This method has been proven in all our locations by over 90% retention from a term-by-term basis.

We never stop developing. Our curriculum keeps changing to meet the stay on track with what is needed tomorrow. Our latest addition, Artificial Intelligence, puts us as the only club teaching kids how to use AI in given applications. Even after developments are complete, we continue making changes based on feedback from students, teachers, parents and our executive team.

  • Robotics/Programming Instructor
    • Description: Exceed Robotics instructors teach students programming, electronics and computer design in a hands-on, interactive classroom environment. Various programs which teach graphical and C-language programming, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Computer Design (Fusion 360), programming Arduino micro-controllers, 3D printers. Classes run on evenings and weekends for students ranging from 7 & 8 / 9-11/ 12-15 years old. Camps are offered during the march break/summer/winter available for additional hours.



4. Jays Care Foundation


Organization Description: Jays Care Foundation serves to create a level playing field for all children and youth across Canada. Jays Care Foundation offers recreation programming to teach life skills and create lasting social change for youth in marginalized communities across Canada.

    • Description: Katimavik's National Experience Program is a fully-funded, and fully-immersive 5.5 month program. The program brings together 11 young, diverse adults who share and manage a Katimavik house while living and doing meaningful volunteer work in two different communities within Canada. All expenses related to participation in the program are covered.

  • Future Perfect Program
    • Future Perfect by Katimavik is a program which supports youth at the start of their careers. Not an internship or volunteer position, Future Perfect sets youth from across the country up with real employers in our host communities for 3 months of fully funded, fully supported paid work. Youth are supported by a Job Developer, and will not only gain valuable job experience, but also learn valuable career and employment-based skills.

8. The Blackwood Gallery


Organization Description: The Blackwood is a contemporary art centre at the University of Toronto Mississauga dedicated to open, public research.
