The event will begin with 3-minute introductory presentations from each employer in the main room.
During networking, each organization will be assigned their own breakout room. You may join as many different breakout rooms as you'd like.

  • Part-Time Support Assistant
    • Description: As a Support Assistant, you are providing direct support to people who have an intellectual disability where you are responsible for the individualized support of one or more people. Support may include assistance with daily activities (including personal hygiene and meal preparation) and a great focus on community involvement.

3. ECSpeRT (Erindale College Special Response Team)

Organization Description: ECSpeRT is the campus medical response team for University of Toronto Mississauga and surrounding communities! We are UTM students who volunteer from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, all trained to provide medical assistance. Some of our services include On-call coverage 24/5 Mondays 8am to Saturday 8am, on and off campus event coverage, and Standard First Aid Courses.

  • Standard First Aiders (Observers)
    • Description: Observers are members trained in Standard First Aid and CPR who respond to call-for-service with the AMFRs and assist in providing patient care and data recording. No experience or previous training is required.

  • Executive Members
    • Description: Our Executive Council consists of hard-working individuals who dedicate their time to increase outreach, optimize training, increase opportunities for members and help ECSpeRT provide excellent patient care.

  • Advanced Medical First Responders
    • Description: AMFRs are members who have successfully completed the St. John Ambulance AMFR course. They are highly skilled first responders trained to provide first aid in a variety of emergency settings. Some of our AMFRs are also part of the Executive Council.

4. EveryMind Mental Health Services

(formerly Peel Children's Centre)

Organization Description: EveryMind Mental Health Services provides help and hope to infants, children, youth, young adults (up to age 25) and families who live in the Region of Peel. EveryMind offers high quality mental health services including assessment, treatment and education delivered by experienced mental health professionals.

Additional opportunity includes training in Youth Peer Support projected to take place in early 2022.
